Early Progress

Matthew has been a fighter, but as a premature baby, he has needed some help to live and grow as he should. Here is a little snapshot of a few of those things that have kept and continue to keep him thriving.

CPAP– He only had to be on the CPAP for a few hours right after birth.

Nasal Cannula and OG Tube (Orogastric Tube- feeding tube through the mouth)

Blue Light Phototherapy

He was on and off these lights for the first week and a half or so because his Bilirubin levels for sometimes high (about every other day or so). The lights were not his favorite 😔.

Smaller Nose Cannula and NG Tube (Nasogastric Tube- feeding tube through the nose).
