February 15 Update

Matthew’s Newborn Genetics Screening confirmed Trisomy 21, but everything else came back normal. When you get to see Matthew in person, you’ll notice a few distinct characteristics of Down Syndrome: almond shaped, upward slanting eyes; a tongue that tends to stick out; a single line across the palm of his hand (palmer crease); smaller hands; and shorter legs.

Weight: 1335 g (2 lbs 15 oz)
