March 3 Update

Weight: 1908 g (4 lbs 3.3 oz)

The only thing new with Matthew today was that he got moved into a different room. I was really sad at first because I loved his old one. I felt very comfortable and at-home there. There were only a few babies, and it was quiet. The room he is in now is a bit more lively with lots of other babies, but he has a corner spot next to a window, and the nurse practitioner said we will really enjoy that and that Matthew will as well.

There were a lot of new faces in the new room tonight, but Brandi, Matthew’s nurse (who was so nice by the way and helped me get all settled and feel more comfortable in our new area), told me that all the nurses rotate and work in all the different rooms; so, while there will probably be more new faces, we should also get to see the nurses we already know and love. She said they often get assigned to babies they know well. ❤️
